Solinger’s demise was confirmed in a press release posted on the band’s official social pages. “We’re saddened to listen to the information of our brother Johnny Solinger,” the message reads. “Our ideas are along with his household, buddies and followers. Godspeed Singo. Say hiya to Scrappy for us.”
With Skid Row, Solinger lower 4 albums, together with 2003’s Thickskin and 2006’s Revolutions Per Minute, and he launched a handful of solo albums within the noughts, together with 2008’s Johnny Solinger.
In 2014, Solinger revisited his nation roots on Scrappy Smith, an album that pays tribute to his grandfather Willard Jesse “Scrappy” Smith who launched the younger rocker to most of the basic sounds in nation music. “I used to be born in Russellville, Arkansas, which is correct off of Crow Mountain,” Solinger instructed Billboard forward of its launch. “I spent a variety of my time fishing on the Little Crimson River.
